Dr Alexander Lam
Principal Dentist
Dr Alexander Lam is an Adelaide born and bred dentist, international speaker, and researcher with a special interest in sedation anaesthesiology, surgical dentistry, and specialised orthodontics. He is the Founder and Principal Dentist of Adelaide Family Dental and Adelaide Sedation Dentistry, where he provides comprehensive dental care and advanced office-based intravenous sedation for anxious, medically complex, and surgical patients.
After graduating from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and First Class Honours in Dental Science, Dr Lam completed postgraduate qualifications in Conscious Sedation at the University of Sydney and a Master of Science in Specialised Orthodontics from Münster University, Germany. His clinical philosophy combines evidence-based dentistry with a strong emphasis on patient safety, comfort, and exceptional treatment outcomes.
Dr Lam has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in international dental and anaesthesia journals and continues to undertake clinical research focused on improving patient recovery and quality of care following intravenous sedation. His work has contributed to advancing best practice in outpatient dental anaesthesia and modern orthodontic treatment.
A passionate educator, Dr Lam is a regular international speaker, presenting to dental audiences on topics including sedation anaesthesiology, patient safety, management of medically complex patients, airway assessment, and contemporary orthodontic treatment. He is committed to sharing practical, evidence-based knowledge that helps clinicians deliver safer and more predictable patient care.
Dr Lam is actively involved in professional leadership and advocacy. He was recently elected to the Governing Council of the Australian Dental Association (South Australian Branch) and to the Federal Council of the Australian Society of Dental Anaesthesiology. Through these roles, he advocates for high clinical standards, the future of independent private practice, professional education, and responsible integration of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, into modern dentistry.
Outside dentistry, Dr Lam is a proud husband and father of three young children. He enjoys golf, tennis, travel, and community service, and serves on several volunteer committees supporting the Vietnamese refugee community and multicultural organisations.

Dr Felicity Lam
Principal Dentist

Dr Felicity Lam is a warm and friendly face at Adelaide Family Dental. She brings her specialities in management of family dentistry and cosmetic requirements especially in working with children.
She was born and bred in Adelaide, a scholarship student at Wilderness School and graduated as a multiple prize-winner from the University of Adelaide with concurrent First Class Honours.
Felicity excels in the art of gentle and caring dentistry. Her top priority is ensuring her patients are comfortable and at ease in the dental chair. She ensures that every one of her patients leave with the satisfied smile they deserve accompanied with the take-away knowledge to keep that smile white and bright and to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Felicity consistently aims to improve herself to provide the best possible experience for her patients. She continues to build her dental knowledge and skills through Professional Development courses and through her membership with the Australian and New Zealand Paediatric Dental Society. She had presented a number of papers in national and international dental conferences.

Outside of the clinic, Felicity is involved in a number of community activities and variety of sports from tennis to yoga and pilates. She likes all forms of art and loves collecting sketching or painting for her own art collections.

Dr Kevin Moon
Principal Dentist

Dr Kevin Moon is a friendly face at Adelaide Family Dental. He graduated from the University of Adelaide and has been in private and public practices for several years before he got invited by our principal dentist to join the practice bringing his specialties in gentle and caring dentistry to our patients.
Kevin has a great passion for all aspects of dentistry including restorative (especially dental implants), crown and bridge works, aesthetic and preventative care for all the age groups. He always aims to improve himself as a clinician by regularly attending interstate and international conferences.
Kevin is extremely keen on providing a quality care to patients. He strongly believes in the importance of communication with patients. His friendly personality enables patients to relax during the treatment and build a strong relationship between him and his patients.
Outside of dentistry, Kevin enjoys traveling around the world and particularly enjoys playing soccer, going to the gym and spending time with his family.

Dr Huu Dinh
Dentist

Dr Huu Dinh was born and bred in Adelaide, coming from the Northern suburbs. He studied at Blackfriars Priory School before moving to Eynesbury Senior College and then the University of Adelaide.
Huu believes that a visit to the Dentist shouldn't be scary and does his utmost to make it a comfortable experience. Huu enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but particularly enjoys restorative, paediatric, aesthetic and oral surgery. He believes in working together with the patient to achieve a successful outcome!
Outside of work, you can find Huu on his feet running around Adelaide and soaking in the scenery. He also loves to cook (and eat!) and is likely planning his next travel destination!

Dr Henry Chen
Dentist

Dr Henry was raised in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. He graduated from La Trobe University, Bendigo, in 2018 and has practiced in private clinics in Victoria for several years before making the move to South Australia and joining Adelaide Family Dental.
He strongly believes in bringing a gentle and ethical approach to treating his patients. He is dedicated in creating a pleasant and comfortable dental experience for patients.
Henry enjoys all aspects of general dentistry including preventative/restorative dentistry, crown and bridge work and orthodontics (fixed braces and Invisalign).
He strives to constantly expand his skillset and knowledge base by attending continuing professional development programs. In the past, he has completed several programs including courses in orthodontics and implant surgery.
In his spare time, he enjoys going for runs and the occasional tennis and looking for the closest McDonald’s afterwards.

Ms Michelle Le
Practice Manager

Michelle is our Practice Manager.
Michelle brings over three decades of experience in project management and public health. She has previously implemented programs for Diabetes SA.
Michelle is a warm and compassionate health care professional who believes in building long-term relationships between clinicians and patients.
